RESUMO
O
texto aborda a concepção winnicottiana de trauma. Apresenta,
inicialmente, os cinco tipos de trauma explicitados pelo autor, que
correspondem às diferentes etapas do processo de amadurecimento. Em
seguida, expõe a caracterização geral do que é traumático segundo
Winnicott: o fato de o trauma ser relativo à situação de dependência –
desde a mais primitiva – e, em segundo lugar, de ter um sentido
temporal, o de imprevisibilidade.

ABSTRACT
The text approaches Winnicott" s conception of the trauma. It presents,
initially, the five types of trauma identified by the author, which
correspond to the different stages of the maturation process. Next, it
displays the general characterization of what is traumatic according to
Winnicott: firstly, the fact that the trauma is always relative to the
situation of dependence – from the most primitive – and, secondly, that
it has a temporal meaning, the unpredictability.
